is it possible for a breastfeeding mum undergo MRI with contrast?
the contrast is safe if it happen that u are breastfeeding your baby. Only 1 % of the contrast will be absorbed in breastmilk and of the milk absorbed only 1% will be absorbed by the baby's gut. Besides that the contrast will be excreted out from the baby's body within 24 hours.

Susu Ibu Dan Kanser
Bagaimana meningkatkan penghasilan susu?
1.Motivasi tinggi
Your breast need the stimulation of breast removal to make more milk. The more she removes from the breast, the more u will make. Feed her/him before meal, bila dia tgh lapar. Elakkan penggunaan bool susu.
4.pengambilan nutrisi yang seimbang.
5.Pastikan pelekapan dan posisi anak yang betul.Teknk hisapan yang betul. Pastikan mulut bayi menutupi keseluruhan tompok hitam.(There was 1 case where by the lady gave her baby breastmilk for a complete two years by expressing the milk only).
6.Selalu belai anak anda. Jadikan payudara sebagai'pacifier'.
7.Urut payudara sebelum menyusukan anak untuk merangsang 'let down reflex'.
8.Kena sentiasa tenang. (Do not stress up your self. Stress has been shown to affect the let down reflex.. This is thought that adrenaline restricts size of blood vessels carrying oxytocin the breast.)
9.Elakkan pengambilan pil perancang terutamanya yang berasaskan hormon estrogen kerana mengurangkan penghasilan susu.
